Nursery and Toddlers:
We demonstrate Christ's Love for children ages 0 to 28 months by providing a safe and clean environment for every child. Each room has a staff supervisor who oversees the many volunteers who take turns loving our babies so parents can participate in any of Northwest's worship services. You can feel confident that your child is in good hands!
Early Childhood Ministries:
Sunday School classes for 2 year olds through preschool are provided every Sunday morning during all worship services. Our preschoolers enjoy a variety of age appropriate activities including Bible stories, playtime, movement, music and crafts. It's a great place for little ones to learn about Jesus while building relationships with our staff and other children. In our early childhood ministries, your child is bound to have a great time!
Elementary Grades K-6
During our 8:00 and 11:00 a.m. hours, our Construction Zone Sunday School is open to students in kindergarten through sixth grade. In each class, students are greeted by dedicated and enthusiastic volunteer teachers who are committed to demonstrating a love for the Lord in their classes. Age appropriate, Bible based curriculum is provided to help children apply the truths learned to real life.
Kingdom Builders 9:30 Hour
KidsTime
Kid's Church at its best and is open to students kindergarten through second grade. The KidsTime teaching team provides an exciting, fun filled hour. The sounds of energetic, worshipful music can be heard as children learn to worship and honor God with their lives. Students will hear Bible stories presented with object lessons, puppets, videos and more!
Clubhouse 34
Third and Fourth graders meet in a large group setting in Clubhouse 34 to discover Biblical truth in a relevant way. Through games, music, crafts, skits and Bible stories, children will grow more aware of God's love, care and help in their everyday lives. Students discuss appropriate topics as we learn to live more like our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Studio 56
Our youth group for fifth and sixth graders that meets Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. It's a high-energy program with a focus on helping students get connected to God and other students before entering middle school. By creating a casual and fun atmosphere, students are open to God's truths along with healthy relationships with other students and adult leaders. Fun and fellowship happen simultaneously! Sunday Mornings we meet to worship and dig deep into God's Word. Led by staff and volunteer leaders who love the Lord, students can expect to worship through music, make new friends and hear creative Bible teachings.
Wednesday nights September to May we meet for crazy fun and small group Bible studies. You can expect games, competitions, videos, a live band and more. Studies are conducted in a small group format with a committed leader throughout the year. Occasional weekend activities might include campouts, bowling or gym activities.
Special Needs Class
We love kids, all kids! And because we model Christ's love for everyone, we provide a class for children with Special Needs at the 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. hours so parents can attend worship services and adult ministry classes. Led by trained leaders who have a heart for families with disabilities, this class is just like any Sunday School class. Stations are provided so students will receive a welcome time, worship through singing and sign language, Bible teaching during circle time, as well as activities and play.
