WELCOME TO JUNIOR HIGH MINISTRIES
JOSH DOLARIAN – Pastor
“Jr. High can be hard, interesting, scary (and a thousand other things). It is my conviction that during these Jr. High years students decide who they are going to become as they enter into adulthood. That is why I am so passionate about Jr. High ministry. I love seeing students make steps towards Jesus and come to a deeper understanding of a God that they can trust in a world of uncertainty.
My name is Josh Dolarian and I am a lucky guy. I am married to my best friend Lauren, I have a crazy dog named “Dietrich Bonehoeffer”, and I get to do what I love for a living – telling the next generation about the love of Jesus. In fact, my life’s ambition is to see as many students come to know the incredible love of Christ as possible.
I am a graduate of Fresno Pacific Biblical Seminary with a Masters Degree in Christian Ministry, a life long martial artist, adventure seeker, theology nerd, and nerd in general.”
WEDNESDAY EVENINGS | 6:30 PM | CHAPEL
Our mid-week gathering is the best time for your Junior High student to connect with our Junior High Group. We meet year round from 6:30 to 8:15 and have a ton of fun.
We start out our Wednesday night service with a crazy and fun game to get everyone warmed up and ready for the rest of the evening. We have a time of student lead worship followed by an engaging message. We want your Junior High student to know that God loves them and that His ways are the best ways for them to live their life.
After the message we break into small groups. The groups are separated by gender and grade and lead by our student ministry leadership team. Small groups are a time for students to make friendships that help build them up. Students also have the opportunity find mentors in our awesome leadership team. We hope that students can begin to develop a faith of their own that will grow and carry them through school and beyond.
SUNDAY MORNINGS | 9:30 AM | CHAPEL
On Sunday mornings both Junior High and High School come together for a time of student-led worship. There is also an engaging message where we look at a portion of the Bible and to see how it is helpful for students’ lives. Our desire is for students to gain a deeper understanding of the scriptures and begin to develop the tools they need to allow their faith to carry them through school and into adulthood.
