Northwest's PrimeTimers is a group of men and women over age 55 who get together once or twice a month to engage in a variety of fun activities. Led by Pastor Bob Small, these folks are not your typical rocking chair grandma's and grandpa's; some fly airplanes, others are launching new businesses, and still others spend their time volunteering. Whether they're enjoying a luncheon, an ice cream social, or celebrating a holiday, these men and women are vibrant people who love the Lord!
Primetimers love to sing
- Southern Gospel Service & Special Concerts - Both young and old enjoy the Southern Gospel Service each Sunday at 11am in the Sanctuary but PrimeTimers dominate this popular service featuring both local and national talent. Get schedule.
- Singspiration - We meet the 4th Sunday of every month to worship God through traditional hymns
Here are some exciting primetimer events coming up:
Saturday, April 21- Join the Primetimers group for a trip to Old Town Sacramento and Railroad Museum on Saturday, April 21. We'll leave Northwest on a charter bus at 8am. Cost is $25. Checks payable to Northwest, monies MUST be paid to the church office no later than Friday, April 6. Call Pastor Bob at 977-7842 with questions.
Saturday, May 26 - A Memorial Day Luncheon and timely remembrances of those who gave their all for our freedom. (It's not Memorial Day, but it is Armed Forces Day). Please plan on joining us at noon.
Saturday, June 16 - Home-made Ice Cream Social & family Movie Matinee at noon in the Worship Center. You are encouraged to whip up your favorite ice cream to bring and share.
Saturday, July 21- Join us for a wonderful breakfast / brunch and time of fellowship in the Worship Center at 9:30 am.
Saturday, August 18 - A Charter bus trip to Monterey Bay Aquarium. We'll leave around 8am and should be home by supper. Details to follow.
Saturday, September 29 - Our Second Annual shuttle bus trip to Bravo Cheese in Traver. Leave NWC at 9 am and be home early afternoon. FREE!
Saturday, October 20 - Morning trip to the Legion of Valor Military Museum in downtown Fresno.
Saturday, November 17 - Veterans Day Luncheon. Noon in the Worship Center.
Saturday, December 1 - The Reason- for- the Season Continental Breakfast & Christmas Boutique. 8:30 am in the Worship Center.

Pastor Bob Small and dozens of other PrimeTimers are available to visit you or a loved one in the hospital or at your home when ill. We can also provide practical help to those who have recently lost a loved one by bringing food, cleaning, and more. Please don't hesitate to get in touch with us - we want to help.
