The Big God Story

The Big God Story is God's ENTIRE story stretching from Genesis to Revelation and beyond. It is the focus of our new children's curriculum called TRU. The Big God Story communicates each Bible story within the context of God's bigger story, so that the Bible doesn't become a collection of short stories or Jesus just another character. Our hope is that Northwest Kids will understand that they play a part in God's incredible story and are a part of a larger faith community of past, present, and future believers.

Children from birth through 6th grade will love the fun atmosphere where they can play, sing, connect with other kids their own age, and learn about Jesus. It's a high-energy place run by a fantastic staff and trained volunteers.

Speaking of volunteers

As a parent, you'll want to know how we keep your kids safe. Every volunteer at Northwest Church is finger printed and background checked before they become a part of our ministry. Kids are checked in and out of their classrooms by parents and pagers are available in the nursery in case your baby requires assistance during the service.

We encourage you to bring your kids to their classroom on Sunday mornings. Even if they are a little hesitant ask them to check it out. Big church isn't designed for little ones and they will have way more fun with kids their own age.

Infants & toddlers

Our nursery is located on the southwest section of campus (enter by the chapel) and run by competent and caring staff and volunteers. You can check your child in at the nursery entrance and pick up a pager if you would like. This way we can get in touch with you if your child needs your assistance during the service.

Preschool/kinder

It's our privilege to come along side parents to encourage faith, character, and knowledge of God in these little ones. The message is simple. We want your kids to know that God made them, He loves them, and Jesus wants to be their friend.

Grade school

Kid's church is an exciting place for kids to hang out with their friends while growing in faith, character and their relationship with Jesus Christ. We want to help your child know how to make wise choices, trust in God no matter what and treat others with the same respect he/she wants to be treated with. As they grow spiritually, we'll help your kids dig deeper while building new friendships and having a great time! We want to challenge them to grow in their faith, serve Christ and share His love with others.

Special Needs

We believe that church should be a place where every child feels welcomed, loved, and secure.

Our Special Needs program is designed for children ages 4 through 18 and meets every Sunday at 9:30 and 11 a.m. in room 108. Your child will experience a unique and loving environment created for children with special needs. This includes: a time of worship, prayer, lesson, craft time and free time.
