Worship is more than singing your favorite song

Sometimes it's a public declaration; sometimes it's a quiet reflection in the heart. Above all it's a 24/7 lifestyle in which all we are is offered up to God as an expression of love to Him.

There are more than 100 people who collaborate to create Sunday worship each week. We have some great talent and cool technology in our worship arts department. If you want to be a part of the worship arts ministry at Northwest Church, we are always looking for people to join our team. Here's some ways you can get involved.

Tech Team

Are you the guy or gal that gets called by every member of your family to install their printer, program their remote control, or just figure out how to stop their dvd player or VCR from flashing 12 o'clock? Do you find yourself hooking up their TV's, satellite receivers, or trying to fix their computers?

Maybe you come to church and get frustrated when the lyrics or sermon notes aren't quite right on the big screens. Maybe you've been in a band and have a passion for music and technology. Maybe you like watching all of the colorful lights during worship. If you're looking for a place to use your talent and passion we will "plug you in."

Our tech team does our best to provide an atmosphere of worship for multiple venues and we're always looking for a few good men and women. We can train you to run graphics, video, sound, and lights if you have a willing heart and a teachable spirit. Live & Loud Band

Our Live & Loud Band has a rock and roll vibe with a ton of energy. The group features electric guitar, drums, keyboard, vocalists and more. You might hear Jesus Culture music or some unplugged worship from this team of talented musicians.

Sanctuary Music

It's not uncommon to have 30 to 40 people involved in worship in the sanctuary. In this venue, you'll hear choruses, hymns, orchestras and a choir. Here are some ways you can get involved:

• Rhythm instruments
