Spend the morning with Pastor Will Stoll and other staff members as you learn all about our mission, our process for making disciples, your own spiritual gifts and much more. Starting Point is a two-part class that helps you discover what's next in your spiritual journey and your involvement at Northwest Church. You can register in the church office or right here.

PART 1 - To be completed at home

This is a time of reflection and learning about yourself. By taking the time to complete three exercises, you'll gain valuable insight into how God uniquely shaped you. The result of this information is for your own personal growth and sharing of the results is optional. Here are the three exercises - they are all fun and interesting:

• Injoy spiritual gifts assessment
  Did you know that you are spiritually gifted? God has placed into each one of us spiritual gifts. Things like leadership, hospitality, prayer, and mercy. Injoy is a popular assessment tool that asks a series of questions that identity gifts.
  
  
• Monvee system
  Can we just start by saying; this online assessment is amazingly cool. You answer some questions that take just a few moments and then you'll get to learn about your temperament how God has wired you. From this information the monvee system creates a spiritual growth plan just for you. The system will suggest readings, resources, experiences and relational connections that will help you overcome obstacles and spark spiritual growth. It will also show you places to plug in at Northwest church. It's amazing.
  
  
• Testimony worksheet
  We want you to take time to reflect and write about some of the highlights and challenges you have experienced in life. This worksheet has some questions to get you thinking about what your life was like before you were a Christian and how it has changed over time. It will also prompt you to think about your hopes and victories looking forward.Now that you've finished preparing - you get to bring all this results to Part 2 to learn how it all fits into Northwest Church.

Part 2 - To be completed in class

At part two of the class you'll get a chance to spend the morning with Pastor Will Stoll, meet some of our staff, and enjoy lively discussion. Plus we'll feed you a light breakfast and lunch. Here are some things you'll hear about at our Starting Point class:

• The mission, vision and structure of Northwest Church
• Your spiritual gifts and testimony worksheet (only if you want to share these things)
• How your gifts fit into service opportunities
• How you can use your online personal growth plan as a road map for spiritual growth
