Prime Timers

Pastor Bob Small:
What kind of older folks sit in the church pews on Sunday morning today? Well there are grandmothers that fly airplanes, there are grandfathers launching new enterprises, web-site administrators and teachers. Serving out their years as servants to others. There are those rugged souls that are going back to the class room to pick up an extra degree. Others are touring the seven seas, many have gone back to work after retiring and a vast number are volunteering in the church and devoting themselves to serving God.
The greatest need of all is to present the good news of Jesus Christ, older people are ready and more than willing to express their faith as they live the reality of Jesus Christ in their lives. This presents a wide open door for evangelism and is part of the great commission.
Our Lord said, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you." (Mathew) 28:19,20
