Junior high is a time of crazy transitions for students. They rapidly gain more freedom while maintaining much of their childhood. As they journey towards adulthood, the choices they make now have a profound effect on the rest of their lives. This is especially true for their faith journeys; and this is what makes junior high such a crucial time. In our junior high ministry, we strive to create a loving community for students to navigate these challenges and decisions in a way that honors God and encourages them to know Jesus as both their Lord and Savior. At our services, want them to encounter loving fellowship in our community, and most importantly, the true love and purpose available to them in a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our mid-week gathering is the best time for your Junior High student to connect with our Junior High Group. We meet year round from 6:30 to 8:15 and have a ton of fun.

We start out our Wednesday night service with a crazy and fun game to get everyone warmed up and ready for the rest of the evening. We have a time of student lead worship followed by an engaging message. We want your Junior High student to know  that God loves them and that His ways are the best ways for them to live their life.

After the message we break into small groups. The groups are separated by gender and grade and lead by our student ministry leadership team. Small groups are a time for students to make friendships that help build them up. Students also have the opportunity find mentors in our awesome leadership team. We hope that students can begin to develop a faith of their own that will grow and carry them through school and beyond.

On Sunday mornings we will have hangout times before the 9:30 and 11 o’clock services with donuts and cereal in the Student Ministry lobby. We will head over as a group to the service in the Live & Loud building. We encourage students to get plugged in with the main church services through serving opportunities and offer them the same discipleship classes that we have for adults. We are excited to see how this interaction with main services on Sundays will lead to growth in their lives, their families, and growth in our church.
